Rooh: Bringing International Indian from San Francisco

We happened to come across this place on Zomato while searching for a fine dine. Located at Kalkadas Marg, Mehrauli, Rooh is an urban, Indian-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar from San Francisco .

It has been constructed in a 150 year old haveli making it intrinsically Indian yet decidedly International.

ROOH is the brainchild of Chef Sujan Sarkar, in collaboration with restaurateurs Anu & Vikram Bhambri who are his partners from San Francisco.

The menu at ROOH has been curated to offer an eclectic choice of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The restaurant offers a seasonal a la carte menu that is available for lunch and dinner; and an eleven-course chef’s tasting menu for dinner.

The restaurant’s cocktail menu is as ingenious as the food menu. ROOH Delhi’s cocktails are based on the six Ayurvedic rasas – sweet, salty, pungent, bitter, sour and astringent. With house-made mixes and syrups, ROOH’s cocktail philosophy is crafted to create a sensory experience.
